This Saturday evening, our District will mark the centenary of Northern Ireland with a parade around the town.
The celebration, which has been delayed from last year, will feature Orangemen and women from across the local districts, along with a number of local bands.
Participants are to assemble in Mark Street by 7pm, ahead of the parade starting at 7.15pm.
The parade will incorporate the annual VE Day commemoration, held by LOL 1952 and so will pause at the Newtownards & District War Memorial to allow for laying of wreaths.
