The Grand Orange Lodge of Ireland Centennial Parade will take place in Belfast on Saturday 28th May.
Beginning from the Stormont Estate at 1pm, Orangemen and women, along with over 130 bands and members of the Apprentice Boys of Derry, will parade the length of Upper Newtownards Road and cross the Queen’s Bridge before proceeding to City Hall and dispersing.
For what is expected to be the largest Orange gathering since the Covenant parade in 2012, a morning of activities are planned for Stormont prior to departure. There will be musical performances, family activities and a range of food offerings within the Stormont grounds. A free shuttle bus will run between Stormont and the city centre between 9.30am and noon.
Newtownards will travel to the parade as a District, with buses leaving from the lower part of Mary Street at 10.30am. The cost of buses has been advised to lodges.
See below for maps of the assembly area and the route to the city centre. We look forward to participating in this historic gathering.
